By accessing or using SyncFolio AI ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SyncFolio AI is a career management platform that allows users to create professional content and distribute it across multiple platforms including LinkedIn, GitHub, Dev.to, Hashnode, and others. The Service includes AI-powered content optimization features.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and current information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post content that is false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent
• Spam, harass, or abuse other users or platform members
• Violate the terms of service of any connected platform (LinkedIn, GitHub, etc.)
• Distribute malware, viruses, or any malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Impersonate another person or entity

5. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you create and post through SyncFolio AI. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (including AI optimization and platform publishing).

You are solely responsible for ensuring your content complies with the rules and terms of each connected platform.

6. Third-Party Platform Integrations

When you connect third-party platforms, you authorize SyncFolio AI to act on your behalf to publish content you explicitly approve. You acknowledge that:

• Each connected platform has its own terms of service which you must comply with
• We are not responsible for actions taken by third-party platforms
• Platform APIs may change or become unavailable at any time
• You can disconnect any platform at any time from your dashboard

7. Subscription and Billing

SyncFolio AI offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. For paid plans:

• Billing is processed monthly or annually via Stripe
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content published through our platform will appear on third-party platforms as expected.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SyncFolio AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or reputational damage.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via email.
